It’s the Little Things-Jingle
March 19th, 2010 categories: Charlotte Living
The best secret in Charlotte, NC public schools is by far, Smith Language Academy. It is just amazing to walk through the halls and hear all the international sounds of Chinese,German, French, and Japanese being spoken by the students. World Culture..Smith gives it all. My children attend this school and it is interesting, when you meet one of these kids you don’t ask “how is Math going?” but you ask ” How is your Chinese?” Blows me away at the ability of these young minds. Anyway, enough about that. The reason for this post is to promote the Harris Teeter Jingle Contest. Smith Language Academy submitted an entry to win $10,000 and the kids produced this jingle. Please help them win money for their school. We all know the schools need it and think about all the different text books this school needs in 5 languages. As you are watching think about each student speaks at least 2 sometimes 3 languages fluently. Oh and by the way, this is the only school with a bell choir. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE for the Teeter Tots!
