No thorns in this Cotswold Briarpatch
April 17th, 2010 categories: Featured Properties
“What do you see?…a trusted old friend…a place for first steps, snowball fights and “watch me, no really Daddy are you watching” moments at the pool…” (see the Bansemer’s Homestory below) that’s the way Brenda and Ken Bansemer describe their home (for sale) at 401 Briarpatch Lane in the heart of Charlotte’s beloved Cotswold area. Cotswold has long been one of this areas where you were just close enough to everything but far enough away that this home could be called a retreat. Close enough to Cotswold Mall, Shun Lee Chinese, Starbucks….ten minutes from uptown Charlotte and around the block to churches and schools – check out its WALKSCORE here

Tucked in the back of the Sherwood Forrest neighborhood, this sought after ranch home sits perfectly on a one acre lot at the end of a cul de sac – a rare find in this desirable location. Get all the details and a bunch of pictures here and if you have questions please call Rhonda Gibbons seven oh four -651-6551 or drop her an email right here
If you’re looking for a distressed property, foreclosure, short sale or some kind of “redhot deal” – 401 Briarpatch may not be for you – but if you’re looking for a home that’s been enjoyed, cared for and loved – well then this might be the find of a lifetime! Life changes and while Brenda and Ken hate to leave they are ready to help the right buyer make this house their home!

Bordering on Bliss|Fort Mill

Fort Mill Lifestyle- South of the NC Border
Do you want to make a run for the border? Is your mouth watering thinking of sinking your teeth into that delicious, meaty taco? Well. . . you’re thinking of the wrong border. The border that I’m talking about is the South Carolina border and the town of Fort Mill, SC. Fort Mill is nicely nestled right next to Charlotte, NC.
Check out this YouTube video for a tour of Fort Mill. Fort Mill has a lot to offer so you could be bordering on bliss if you lived there.
If you still aren’t sure about venturing south of border, here’s an incentive. Baseball is already there. Baseball may or may not return to Charlotte. If you lived in Fort Mill, you would be in the hometown of The Charlotte Knights, a minor league baseball team. What baseball fan would not enjoy the prospect of seeing a professional team on a regular basis during baseball season? Plus, you can always stop at the local Taco Bell in Fort Mill on your way to the baseball game to satisfy your taco craving.
